Townsend “Tree and Shrub Service” consists of seasonally spaced applications of fungicide-pesticide formulations, designed to enhance the health, growth, and natural beauty of your landscape vegetation. A late winter “dormant spray”, which typically needs to be applied before the end of March, is a critical element in an effective annual disease and harmful insect control program. The minimum recommended program is rounded out with a late spring, a summer, and a fall spray application. This service is an appropriate minimum for nearly all evergreen and deciduous shrubbery and trees. It is safe for yard pets and edible fruit-bearing species. Applications are by state-licensed technicians, and are timed and formulated to address potential impacts to beneficial insects and birds. Special and/or more frequent applications are available for specific infestations or to maximize the condition of tree-borne fruit. If you are interested in “Tree and Shrub Service”, or have any questions, we would love to hear from you. If you're an existing Townsend customer, you can express your interest to inform the Technician at your next regular pest control service.
